This is a primary and pre-primary school (aged 4 to 14) for orphans and children from poor families. Situated in the village of Chungni, about thirty minutes away from Migori, this area is one of the poorest in Kenya. The school was started in January 2015 with one class of nearly forty children. Today we have fourteen classrooms with over 600 students.

Our Educational Mission

We believe learning is something that all children in Kenya should benefit from, no matter their disposition, ability, or how poor their family is. WVA is about providing an education to orphans and children from poor families in the Suna West region of Migori County, Kenya.

At the centre of everything is the teachings of Jesus Christ. All children are taught true Christianity and left to make up their own mind as to whether they are being taught truth. We teach that God is good all the time, that is His nature.

We strive to ensure all of our students find learning easy and fun, and the positive feedback we’ve received from our past pupils helps us ensure that all our students will learn with ease and also have fun in the process.

Courses and Tutors

Our teachers are all Christian’s, hand-picked, not only because they are skilled and knowledgeable in their field, but because they understand the particular challenges and requirements our students need. With our dedication to a wholesome learning experience, our students are bound to appreciate the support and understanding our friendly and encouraging tutors can give.
